Terms of Use for DictoBoard

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DictoBoard application (the “App”) provided by EasyMeta (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal iOS device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

DictoBoard is an English keyboard extension for iOS that provides bilingual word definitions while typing. Core features include:

• Real-time English word definitions displayed in the candidate bar
• Local word database and definition pack management
• Customizable keyboard settings (haptics, key sounds, auto-space)
• Multi-language interface support

All word processing and definition lookups are performed locally on your device. The keyboard does not transmit typing data over the network.

3. Full Access Permission

To provide a complete experience, the App requests Full Access permission for the keyboard extension. Full Access is used exclusively for:

• Reading the local word database stored in the App Group shared container
• Synchronizing preferences between the main App and the keyboard extension

Granting Full Access is optional but recommended. The keyboard continues to function without Full Access, though some features (such as definition display) may be limited.

We do not use Full Access to collect, record, or transmit any typing data, personal information, or usage patterns.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, databases, word lists, definitions, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by EasyMeta and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EasyMeta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
