Why we built Flicklish

You learn a language by hearing lots of it.

The best way to improve is plenty of real English you can mostly understand. Experts call it “comprehensible input”. But a 40-minute video feels like homework, so most of us never finish it.

Short-drama apps found the answer: cut every show into 1–2 minute episodes, so watching a few never feels like work. We do the same for English.
