These Terms govern your use of Flicklish, provided by EasyMeta Pty Ltd (ABN 83 664 794 781). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the terms of the app store from which you obtained it. Where these Terms are silent, Apple’s standard End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Flicklish for personal, lawful purposes on devices you control.
Flicklish turns videos you choose into short English lessons. It generates subtitles for a video you link or upload, splits the video into short clips, and lets you play them with adjustable speed and a CEFR difficulty level. An AI Coach can explain a tapped sentence in context. Some features require a network connection and depend on third-party services described in our Privacy Policy.
You need an account, or guest mode, to use Flicklish. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Only import a video, audio file, or link that you own or that you have the right to use for this purpose. YouTube playback is provided through YouTube API Services and is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Flicklish does not give you the right to download or redistribute a video, audio file, or other content that is not yours.
By importing content, you grant EasyMeta a licence to host, process, and display it as needed to provide the app to you — for example, to generate subtitles and clips and to play them back. If you choose to make an import public, you additionally grant EasyMeta a licence to show it to other Flicklish users in the shared library, until you delete it or make it private.
Flicklish has zero tolerance for objectionable or abusive content or users. The following are prohibited in public content and in your use of the app: illegal content, hate speech, sexual content, violent content, harassment, content that infringes another person’s rights, and spam.
Public imports become visible when preparation is complete. Content moderation is based on reports about published content.
Report content or a user through the ••• menu in the app, and block an author whose content you no longer want to see. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that violates these Terms, and may suspend or terminate the account of a user who posts violating content.
AI processing requires your data-sharing permission, which you can withdraw in Settings. Subtitles, clips, and AI Coach explanations are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. They are a study aid, not professional advice, and should not be relied on as an authoritative translation or transcript.
We may update or discontinue Flicklish or any feature. Features that depend on an operating system or third-party service may change when that service changes. You may stop using the app at any time and use its controls to delete your imports or your account.
Flicklish is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free AI output, or that the app will meet every requirement. To the extent permitted by law, EasyMeta is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app or a third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version here and changing the effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
